LAKE REGIONAL NEWS Facebook “f”Logo CMYK / .ai Remodeled lobbies and corridors The hospital has a fresh, new look — from the front door to the Emergency Department lobby. New furnishings make the space more cheerful and comfortable for visitors. Finding your way is easier now, too, with color-coded directories at the elevators and at other key points. And a new registration area in the main lobby makes check-in for tests and procedures more convenient and private. Renovated Outpatient Services With this remodel, outpatients have greater privacy. Instead of curtains separating patient beds, now there are walls. And a new floor plan makes it easier for the care team to work together while keeping a close watch on all patients. All-new Women’s and Children’s Unit/ Family Birth Center The Women’s and Children’s Unit includes a new Family Birth Center, as well as a state-of-the-art obstetrical surgical suite for C-sections, a post-anesthesia care unit and private overnight rooms. Services for women include treatments for pelvic disorders and care following such procedures as H ave you seen the renovations at Lake Regional Hospital? The hospital’s new look is just the beginning of the changes. “We’ve improved patient comfort, privacy and safety, while making it easier for our care team to collaborate and deliver exceptional care,” says Dane W. Pediatric patients receive overnight care for such diagnoses as dehydration, respiratory illnesses and appendicitis.
