Health care for all women Routine Pap tests and mammograms can keep you safe and healthy. But not all women have access to these lifesaving exams. Hospice seeks volunteers The goal of hospice is to provide patients with the highest quality of life possible. Lake Regional Hospice volunteers help by offering patients companionship, running errands, assisting with light housework, providing respite for care- givers and helping with similar tasks. Before beginning, volunteers receive training in grief and bereavement, com- munication techniques, and other hospice-specific topics. Volunteers are reimbursed for mileage. To learn more about volunteering for Hospice, contact Terri Hall, director of Auxiliary and Fund Development, at 573-348-8153 .
